Basic Calibration Package includes:
A. Picture Sizing and Convergence:
Verify horizontal/vertical centering, overscan and overall picture integrity
for primary signal input. Perform convergence and focus with user adjustable
controls.
B. Grayscale: Optimize grayscale from 20 to 100 IRE,
set color temperature for all inputs. Adjust Gamma settings if
available.
C. Picture Controls: Correct the default settings (brightness,
contrast, color, tint, sharpness) for all inputs.
D. Service Menu Fixes (if available): Scan velocity modulation.
Red push and/or other correction "features". Color decoder,
excessive sharpness or edge enhancements. All of these features may vary
by brand and model.
Additional Services:
Video Processors or scalers: Manufacturers make separate controls available for each type of input format (1080i, 720p, 480i etc.) OR each input source OR memory setting (cool, warm, day, night etc.)
